This delightful book contains photos of the twenty tiles depicting nursery rhymes which decorate the walls of the Victoria Ward at Bedford General Hospital.
Victoria Ward used to be the children’s ward and the tiles were installed ‘for the enjoyment of the children’ as part of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
The book has been professionally produced to a high standard with each photo accompanied by the words of the rhyme and an explanation of its origin.It is available from the charity for £6.00 + £1.50 p&p.
