Christmas Tree Festival

Christmas is fast approaching and for many Bedfordians, their Christmas celebrations start with the annual Bedford Christmas Tree Festival, held at St Paul’s Church in the centre of town. Now in its 23rd year, St Paul’s will be sparkling with over 70 Christmas trees decorated to the theme of Kings & Queens by schools, charities, volunteer groups and local businesses.

Over the 5 days of the festival, Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th December there will be 43 school and community choirs entertaining our visitors. The festival is open from 10am – 5.00pm Wednesday to Saturday and midday to 4.00pm Sunday. Admission is only £3 and children under 16 are free.

On Friday evening of the festival (8th December at 7.30pm), we also have the Bedford Christmas Tree Festival Concert where you will be royally entertained by members of the world-class Philharmonia Orchestra whilst surrounded by the magic of the decorated trees. Tickets at £20 are available from: peoplesfundraising.com/concert-tickets

Bring the family and join thousands of visitors over the festival week who are getting in that festive mood whilst supporting both our local hospital and St Paul’s Church. This year Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends are directing their efforts to raise £600,000 for a new Cardiac CT scanner upgrade.
